Attention Attention is a band with members from Koksijde and Nieuwpoort. With Arne Demoen on drums, Tim Duyck on keys, Kris Demets on bass, Ellen Vanneste on violin and Nick Herweyers on guitar and vocals. They call themselves "a ball orchestra that loves pop songs"; and draw inspiration from crooners such as Roy Orbison, Chris Isaak and Alex Turner. "Playing at the Beach Festival will be one of the highlights of our musical year. We are from the area, recently released an EP called ´The Beach Stays The Same´ and just did an intense #TourZee in living rooms along the coastline. Now Beach Festival... It's called the coming together of all the pieces of the puzzle then, surely?" the Attention Attention band members laugh. "We also don't hide the fact that we are proud to share the bill with artists like Keane, Seasick Steve and Sting. We grew up with that music! All the more reason to play our hearts out. But above all to enjoy Beach Festival together with the audience."
